NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Quarterback Khalil Edney ran and passed the New Rochelle offense to a stunning four-touchdown lead at halftime and the Huguenots rolled to their second New York State Class AA football title Saturday with a 34-6 victory over Orchard Park of Buffalo at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse
.After winning a state title in 2003, the Huguenots finished 2004 with a ranking of #18 in the Nation. Their defense was outstanding as they did not allow over 7 points in any game until they played in the Championship. The team featured running back Ray Rice who went on to win a Super Bowl with Baltimore.
